Our story
It started in the redwoods.
Every summer, Gary Cartwright — who founded CK Landscape more than 40 years ago — brought his son Alex to the forests of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Gary has since passed, but his name is in the company and his spirit is in every project.
Alex now takes his own kids to those same trees. CK Nature Play is how he gives every child access to what shaped him.
