It started in the redwoods.

Alex Cartwright grew up in the redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains, brought there every summer by his father Gary, who founded CK Landscape more than forty years ago.

Gary passed away a few years ago. His name is in the company, and his spirit is in every project. Alex now takes his own young children to those same forests.

CK Nature Play is his way of giving every child access to what shaped him.

That's why Alex is personally involved in every project — and why we bring the full weight of CK Landscape to each one: licensed crews, heavy equipment, warehouses full of material, and a reputation built over four decades across Northern California.
