Mill Valley, CA · $236K

Park Elementary Schoolyard

The challenge: A tired asphalt yard and a 1990s steel structure that failed current ASTM fall-zone standards — with installation restricted to an 8-week summer window.
What we built: Outdoor classroom amphitheater, boulder scramble, balance trail, native pollinator garden, accessible DG loop, cork surfacing.
The outcome: Delivered in 7 weeks with a full CPSI compliance package. Recess conflicts down, outdoor lessons up — teachers now book the classroom daily.

Bay Area Parks District · $640K

The challenge: A grant-funded destination playground that had to meet Universal Design goals, public bid documentation, and a creek-adjacent habitat plan.
What we built: Water-play runnel, inclusive nest swings, boulder garden, accessible routes, 14,000 sq ft of native planting.
The outcome: Opened on schedule; zero punch-list items on the agency's final walk. Featured at a regional parks conference.

Ross, CA · $58K

The challenge: A steep oak-covered slope the family thought was unusable.
What we built: Stainless embankment slide, granite boulder climb, timber balance trail, oak-safe grading.
The outcome: Three kids, zero screens on weekends. The slope is now the favorite part of the property.

Oakland, CA — with Natarajan LA · $148K

The challenge: A landscape architect's detailed design needed a builder who would execute it faithfully, CPSI-reviewed.
What we built: Living willow tunnel, ADA sand & water table, stump trail, planted shade.
The outcome: Built to drawings Rev C with two CPSI value-engineering notes that saved $11K. The LA has two more projects with us.
